

I ordered a double whiskey to go with it and the pour was fair and reasonably priced. The shrimp was very fresh tasting, the sauce was good, I was hoping for a bit more spice as I tend to order the spiciest stuff I can find, but it was still pretty good. I wasn't overly hungry, so I ended up going off the recommendation of a friend and ordering the 'knock your socks off shrimp'. At first, I was skeptical as a frequent eater of these salads, it was different, however it was delicious! It was a refreshing change to a classic. This salad had sun dried tomatoes, a flavorful dressing and a lightly fried ball of goat cheese, and some pecans. One of my favorite things to order whenever it is available, usually served with some kind of berries to cut the tart/tang of goat cheese. Meal was 32.00 per person and just an expensive disappointment.From out of town on business travel, was told to give this place a try, was not disappointed! First of all, for being short staffed, the service was great, Holly was amazing! I had the goat cheese salad and it was unique. Again table behind us were on their second dessert with a chunk of pie in a to go container for later. Desserts were tasty but quite small and since our server was hiding somewhere there was no chance to get additional. Sweet potato mash and baked mashed potatoes were just boring standard sides. Brussels Sprout Gratin had great flavor but was barely cooked and sprouts were still hard. Fish was tasty but seemed off since all the sides were geared towards Turkey or Ham.

On plus side Turkey was real just covered in salty canned gravy. There were great choices for food but most was either way to salty or straight out of a can or box (this was confirmed by disinterested wait staff). By the time they arrived the table behind us were on their second basket of rolls. The rolls were great but took 40 minutes and 2 requests to. Sad to say that was not a good decision on our part. Having had their Thanksgiving meal two years ago we decided to go again this year. And I urge all of my people of color or compassion of those with melanin, to do the same. I will never go to this restaurant again. We sat down just like everyone else, yet we were ignored.

What made us so different?! Let’s cut the bs, the only difference is our skin color! We weren’t mean or anything. we’ve ordered our food with Chloe who has been super helpful, and I notice that every other whites person that has come in, seated at the bar or otherwise, has been greeted with a warm welcome. He explained to me that the server refused to wait on us!!! Huh?!? He asks if we’d like to talk to the manager, Paul, I stated yes, however Paul never came to our table.
